Strong Leaders,
Trusted Facilities,
Satisfied Customers
At Care Navigation Solutions, we believe that investing in people is the key to building safe, efficient, and compliant facilities. Our training programs are designed not only to strengthen technical skills but also to develop leaders, empower employees, and create confident teams that thrive in any environment.
We focus on developing both technical expertise and leadership capacity through training in:
- Leadership Development and Team Coaching
- Facility Operations
- Life Safety Codes & Regulatory Compliance
Each session blends hands-on practice with leadership principles and compliance awareness, equipping participants to make informed decisions, lead with confidence, and elevate the performance of those around them. By growing both skills and leadership, we prepare employees to be more than technicians—they become trusted leaders and problem-solvers in your organization.
Facility Management Training
In today’s changing workforce, building strong skills quickly is not just important—it’s essential. Facilities across healthcare, multifamily housing, and foodservice industries face growing demands for safe, efficient, and reliable operations. At the same time, many organizations are challenged by high turnover, generational gaps in technical knowledge, and the need to get new employees job-ready faster than ever before.
Our Skill Blocks are structured to deliver targeted learning in focused, manageable sessions that balance hands-on application with regulatory compliance awareness. This means employees don’t just learn what to do, but also why it matters in maintaining safety, efficiency, and compliance standards.
Our program covers critical areas such as:
- Diagnostics & Troubleshooting: Teaching technicians how to quickly and accurately identify problems, reduce downtime, and make informed repair vs. replace decisions.
- Equipment: Specific Training: Practical instruction on HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical components, and general facility maintenance to strengthen confidence and capability.
- Cost: Conscious Maintenance Practices: Emphasizing strategies that save money while extending the life of your equipment, promoting smarter spending and resource management.
Our approach builds both technical skills and professional confidence, empowering your team to meet today’s challenges while preparing for tomorrow’s opportunities.

Compliance Support
With the immense responsibility of fire safety regulations, it is critical to have individuals who not only know how to perform the required checks, but also understand why those tasks are essential to protecting lives and property. Too often, inspections become routine “check-the-box” exercises. At Care Navigation Solutions, we emphasize the deeper purpose behind every procedure, ensuring that maintenance and safety teams carry out their work with confidence and awareness.
Our approach includes:
- Hands-On Training: Teaching technicians how to properly inspect and service life safety devices.
- Early Detection Skills: Recognizing early signs of wear, malfunction, or failure before they become costly issues.
- Repair Competency: Performing safe and compliant repairs in alignment with manufacturer standards and regulatory requirements.
- Documentation Excellence: Recording inspections, repairs, and corrective actions in a way that meets both internal standards and external survey/audit requirements.
- Compliance Awareness: Reinforcing NFPA Life Safety Code standards so teams understand both the “how” and the “why” behind every task.
In addition to hands-on training, Care Navigation Solutions also conducts comprehensive Life Safety Code assessments. These assessments serve as a proactive measure, helping facilities identify gaps before they become violations. By reviewing systems, documentation, and practices against current NFPA requirements, we provide actionable recommendations that support both safety and survey readiness.
Aligned with HIPAA, PCI, and regulatory expectations impacting healthcare, education, and critical infrastructure. Delivered in collaboration with Senior Cyber Threat Intelligence Analysts holding CISSP, CISA, PCI-ISA, and PCIP credentials.
Protecting your facility systems and operational infrastructure requires a structured, practical approach. Our assessment process is designed to help healthcare organizations, educational institutions, and critical facilities understand their current exposure, identify gaps, and make informed decisions about next steps. We focus on real-world operations, regulatory expectations, and leadership clarity.
- Discovery Consultation
We begin by meeting with your leadership, facilities, and operations team to understand how your buildings and systems run day to day. We talk through what technology is connected to your facility, what protections you already have in place, who has access to your systems, and how outside vendors connect in. We also review how your organization would respond if systems were disrupted, including backup and recovery planning, and any requirements you must meet for regulations or oversight such as HIPAA, PCI, or other applicable standards. We listen to concerns you may already have, recent issues you’ve experienced, or areas where you feel uncertain. The goal is to gain a clear, real-world understanding of your operation and identify where there may be risks or gaps that need attention. - Conduct Assessment to Identify Exposure and Gaps
After the discovery conversation, we take a closer look at how your facility systems and technology are set up and where risks may exist. We review how building systems connect to your network, who has access, and whether there are gaps that could create operational or security problems. This includes looking at building systems, vendor connections, backup and recovery planning, and how prepared the organization is to respond if systems are disrupted. We also review areas related to regulatory expectations, including HIPAA security requirements, PCI payment environments, and other applicable obligations. The goal of this step is to clearly identify where you may be exposed and what may need attention. - Assessment Report
We provide a clear written assessment report that explains what we found in straightforward terms. The report identifies areas where your organization may be exposed, highlights the gaps we see, and outlines potential next steps. We organize the report in a suggested order to help guide decisions and advise leadership on where attention may be most important. Your team ultimately decides what to address first based on your operations, budget, and comfort level. Our role is to help you understand the report, talk through options, and move forward with the priorities that make the most sense for your organization. - Follow-On Support Based on Assessment Report
Every organization is different, so we do not begin with a fixed package of services. After the assessment and report are delivered, we can continue to support your team if requested. Our work is focused on helping you understand the report, review options, and talk through practical next steps that align with your operations and responsibilities.
We may provide guidance and advise your team through planning, preparedness, and coordination with internal staff or outside vendors. We can assist with training discussions, scenario planning, and leadership conversations so your organization can make informed decisions about next steps.
